Behind the scenes of MSC Aggie Cinema film screenings and events, lies a dedicated team of creative individuals who make the organization what it is. MSC Aggie Cinema is for movie-lovers who have a passion for putting together exciting film programs for the Texas A&M community. There are four subcommitees-- Blockbuster, Arthouse, Advanced Screenings, & Student Development. Below you will find desciptions of the four subcommittees. If you're not already a member, join Aggie Cinema now! It's a lot of fun, great experience, and incredibly rewarding.

in Rudder 404 for the Fall 2009 Semester.

The MSC Aggie Cinema Membership Application must have an official cover page attached. To generate a cover page go online to http://apply.msc.tamu.edu and follow the instructions to enter your personal contact information, print and sign the page that results, and attach it to this application.

Membership dues for joining the MSC Aggie Cinema Committee will be $20 per semester. The money will be used for member T-shirts, retreats, and trips for committee members, as well as to provide food at committee functions. |

Subcommittees
Blockbuster Series Subcommittee: The Blockbuster Series Subcommittee is responsible for bringing the best of Hollywood movies to the Texas A&M campus on Friday nights in conjunction with Aggie Nights prior to their home release! Committee members will be involved in all aspects of the movies screenings including picking the movie titles, working with distribution companies to purchase licensing rights, arranging logistics, and ushering the shows.
Arthouse Series Subcommittee: The Arthouse Series Subcommittee is responsible for bringing a wide variety of international and independent films mainly on Thursday nights. Committee members will be involved in all aspects of the movies screenings including identifying themes, selecting the movie titles, working with distribution companies to purchase licensing rights, arranging logistics, and ushering the shows.
Advanced Screenings Subcommittee: The Advanced Screenings Subcommittee is responsible for actively seeking opportunities to bring Blockbuster movies for screening on the Texas A&M campus prior to their release in the movie theaters! Committee members will be involved in all aspects of the screenings including working with distribution companies, arranging logistics, and ushering the shows.
Student Development Subcommittee: The Student Development Subcommittee is responsible for the development of all MSC Aggie Cinema members both academically and socially. The purpose is to:
--Organize and plan committee retreats, field trips, and social events
--Create and administer a Point System to encourage active participation of all MSC Aggie Cinema members
--Communicate events, volunteer opportunities, and other committee business via email
--Organize social events for members of Aggie Cinema
